Autumn is the via dolorosa

Moon in Sagittarius –

T.S. Elliot said that April is a cruel month, and it certainly is, but autumn is the “via dolorosa” – a season which gives us sunny days followed by mist and vapors, that when parted reveal a soft landscape sculpted out of snow.

On Tuesday the storm was approaching – breezy, cold and grey – warning us to prepare.

  1. I had lunch out on that deck, the view is unbelievable! Amazing how the clouds really close you in, kind of like a blanket.

    Love your photos!

  2. Laurie,
I can’t wait for you and the other members to come up again. I think that the blustery weather will calm down soon and we will have some of the warm Colorado sun – but we probably won’t be able to sit out on the deck until next year.
